On Wednesday I Googled, “Is it normal to be tired after a panic attack?” and Siri said, “Yes.” So, I’m still tired, but here I am. Last night I sat outside and looked at the full moon. Nothing happened (that I know of yet), but it feels good to sync myself with giant celestial bodies while so much is out of my control here on earth.
Reading
“Revolution at Point Zero” by Silvia Federici and “Go Tell It on the Mountain” by James Baldwin — still. My pace has just slowed way down recently.

Writing
I finished up edits on two pieces (a short newsy article for PHOENIX and an author interview for Write or Die) and am working on some fun things for the newsletter that will probably roll into the new year.
Eating
Last week for a friend’s birthday we did a vegetarian (and vegan friendly) taco bar and it was quite literally the best. I brought a tofu taco filling (crumbled tofu cooked down in a blended mixture of charred onion, roasted sweet peppers, and canned tomato), refried beans, tortillas (store bought was fine this time) and some chèvre and crackers because that makes it a party for me. Plus wine! I drank many cups of free coffee at the writer’s conference and snagged a donut at the social hour. I’m glad to report they bought from BoSa donuts, not the newer trendier places. Another night another rose, and my empty bottle of Acid League Meyer Lemon Honey vinegar.
The Good Enough Weekly comes out on Fridays, alternating essays and shorter updates. I also take on freelance editing and writing projects. Reach out if you’re looking for help in those departments — I’ve worked on everything from zines to textbooks.

Always exhausted after panic attacks 🖤🌕 and full moons, too.
